You’re hooked! You love diving! We know. We too can’t get enough of the underwater world and all it has to offer. Humpback whales, dolphins, grey nurse sharks, wobbegongs, manta rays, bull rays, sting rays, turtles, barracuda, pipefish, trumpetfish, moray eels, lionfish, scorpionfish, anemonefish, nudibranchs… The list goes on. There is just so much to see and experience, it’s not hard to see why so many people fall in love with scuba diving.
What about your friends and family? Do they know? Do they understand why you do what you do? Probably not - right?
It’s because words alone can not tell the stories or explain the detail of just how blue the water was, just how close you were to the turtle, or just how colourful the coral is.
Show them!
Show them exactly what you see, what you experience, every time you take the plunge. Do it and do it right! Learn about your camera and housing, learn how to prepare them, use them effectively, maintain and store them correctly. Learn more about light and how it behaves underwater. Should I be shooting with my camera’s internal flash or should I be using an external light source like a strobe? Learn the basics of white balancing, picking and composing your subject correctly and even post processing for your shots.
Course Format
Two Evenings Theory plus Two Dives
The Photgraphy specialty course is available at request. Theory is over two evenings during the week and two dives are required in the ocean to complete certification.
The practical ocean component can be completed on any of our day trips. It can also be completed alongside an Advanced Open Water Program on a liveaboard weekend trip.

Requirements: SSI Open Water certification or equivalent.
Cancellation (or transfer of dates)
More than 7 days notice $50. Inside 7 days $100 since the opportunity to re-sell your place is lost. No refunds once course is underway.
Non-completion of dive medical or independent study by day 1 will mean cancellation of your booking and transfer to later date. This will incur late transfer charges of $100.
