Pro Dive is Brisbane's only Platinum SSI Training Centre. We teach courses from beginner level all the way up to SSI Instructor and beyond. We also operate Brisbane's only SSI Career Training Academy.
Pro Dive was established in 1969 and are specialists in scuba diving and snorkelling. Pro Dive Brisbane offers an extensive range of scuba diving and snorkelling gear as well as training facilities in Milton, just west of Brisbane's CBD.

If you are not sure about Scuba Diving, why not try your First Scuba Experience for just $125! Every week Pro Dive runs pool dives for non-divers so you can experience the thrill and relaxation of breathing underwater! These are called “Try Scuba” sessions and they give you the chance to try breathing underwater on scuba equipment. Pro Dive Open Water Classes
We realise that your Open Water course is your first step into the underwater world and as such, we want to make the experience exciting while training you to be a safe and comfortable diver.
Small Classes. Pro Dive understands your concerns about becoming a safe diver. That’s why we exceed the standards laid down by SSI and have no more than 6 students per class, and where possible run with two staff. This close supervision ratio is your guarantee of a quality program.
In a hurry to get your dive licence? Pro Dive have a brilliant four day full time program ocean completing your five ocean dives! (Four dives on scuba and one snorkel dive). running every week from Tuesday to Friday. There’s no overnight trips away and it is ideal for school holidays, travellers or those on a budget. The first two days you will spend your time in the classroom and diving in the pool before you experinece the real thing in the ocean completing your five ocean dives! (Four dives on scuba and one snorkel dive).

Full Time and Part Time Courses Available
Full Time Program (four days during the week)
Thursday (prior to your course starting) | 6pm - 7pm | BBQ and meet your instructor
Tuesday | 9am - 5pm | Theory Day in the Classroom.
Wednesday | 8am - 4pm | Pool Training.
This is where you will breathe for the first time underwater and gradually learn the skills used in scuba diving starting in a shallow pool before the thrill of actually diving in the ocean with turtles, tropical fish, mantas and humpback whales in season.
Thursday and Friday | Times dependant on tides and boats | Open Water Dives.
Your last two days will be spent visiting reefs around the Gold Coast and Cook Island. You will do five dives in the ocean, four on scuba and one snorkel dive. Transport to and from dives sites is included so all you need to do is arrive at the Pro Dive store each day and we’ll do the rest. Train stations and bus stops are just across the road.
Thursday (after the completion of your course) | 7pm - 8pm | Graduation BBQ
A great week finishes with you as a fully licensed scuba diver and we invite you to celebrate with graduation drinks and a BBQ with your newly made diving buddies and friends. The only question left to ask is "When’s the next Advanced program?"
Part Time Program (two consecutive weekends)
Thursday (prior to your course starting) | 6pm - 7pm | BBQ and meet your instructor
Saturday | 9am - 5pm | Theory Day in the Classroom.
Sunday | 8am - 4pm | Pool Training.

Private Open Water Courses Are Also Available
If our schedule doesn't suit your's or you want a more comprehensive course in a "one-on-one" training environment then a private course is suited to you. For further enquires please phone us in the store on 3368 3766 or email info@prodivebrisbane.com.au. Private lessons start at $1299 for a one-on-one course.
Important Information
Included: All scuba equipment (excluding snorkelling gear), boat dives, refreshments, SSI Crew Pack worth $75, pool entry, airfills, international certification.
Not Included: Your own personal snorkelling gear. WH&S recommends that each person uses their own personal items to reduce the possibility of disease transmission. Snorkelling packages are avaiable to buy at special "Open Water Student" discount rates.
Requirements:
* A current AS4005.1 dive medical (a list of dive doctors is available here).
* You must be able to swim.
* Independent study must be completed prior to course starting.
* WH&S reqires ever diver to carry their own visual and audible signaling device. Pro Dive Brisbane recommends a safety sausage and dive whistle which are available for purchase ($21.97).
Recommended: Dive gloves and a dive knife. Gloves protect you from cuts and scrapes and a dive knife will allow you to cut underwater entanglements such as fishing line.
Cancellation (or transfer of dates): More than 7 days notice $50. Inside 7 days $100 since the opportunity to re-sell your place is lost. No refunds once course is underway.
Non-completion of dive medical or independent study by day 1 will mean cancellation of your booking and transfer to later date. This will incur late transfer charges of $100.
