Dive Masters are healthy outdoor people who love travelling and making new friends.
Dive Masters guide certified divers, and can assist Instructors with pool and open water training. It is easier than most people think.
The divemaster course is made up two seperate courses:
- The Dive Guide course which covers the practical side of leading certified divers as a guide, and
- The Science of Diving course which covers the theoretical side of scuba divingin relation to Physics, Physiology, Decompression Theory, Aquatic Environment and Dive Equipment.
You automatically qualify for the Dive Master rating once you have completed these two courses. Additionally, candidates must have a total of 60 logged dives and must pass a AS 2299 Professional Dive Medical (a list of dive doctors is available here).
