Queensland Workplace Health and Safety requires all divers to complete a Scuba Skills Update if they haven't logged a dive in the last 24 months.

 

Scuba Skills Update

The Scuba Skills Update provides certified divers with a safe and enjoyable way to update their skills in a controlled environment. The program is run on Saturday mornings and takes approximately two and a half hours. During the water session you will become familiar with your equipment, locating and clearing your regulator, clearing your mask, buoyancy control and your emergency "out of air" skills.

Included: All scuba equipment, pool entry, airfills, instructor costs.

Requirements:

  • Proof of certification.
  • Minimum age is 12 years old.
  • You are required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to starting.
