The Hire Department

A full set of hire equipment consists of one tank, BCD, regulator set, wetsuit, weight belt and snorkelling gear (if required). A second tank is charged for at the normal rate.

 

All hire equipment must be returned washed in fresh water or a $10 cleaning fee will be charged.

 

All divers must produce the following prior to hiring any equipment:

  1. Dive certification card
  2. Driver’s licence with photo
  3. Credit card for security purposes

Hire of a pony tank is $12 per day.

 

 

Air Fills

Air fills can be purchased by the fill or in blocks of 10 fills. A single fill is $10 or a 10 fill card is $90.

 

 

Enriched Air Nitrox

Private hire of Nitrox tanks is not permitted due to the risk of unclean airfills. Hire of a Nitrox tank for use on any of our day trips is $24.

 

Nitrox fills for those with their own O2 clean cylinders are priced as follows:

Mixes up to 40%: $30

Mixes over 40%: $40

Pony bottle fill up to 20 cft size up to 40%: $6

Pony bottle fill up to 20 cft size over 40%: $10

 

Big Cat Liveaboard Nitrox Fills:

  • Single Dive: $30
  • Weekend Rate (2 days): $150
  • Long Weekend Rate (3 days): $225
