The Service Department

Snorkel Safari Brisbane has two full time service technicians on staff and a full Service Department which is equipped to service regulators, BCD's, valves & tanks, dive computers, wetsuits and drysuits.

Regulator Safety Check or Full Regulator Service

If you're going on holiday or just haven't dived for a while, bring your gear in for a regulator safety check (regsafe) and we will give your regulators a thorough internal inspection, pressure testing, re-lubricating, clean and safety service.

Regsafe

If your gear requires a little more attention then we can conduct a full regulator overhaul and service. This level of service is required annually by most major manufacturers to maintain factory warranty.

We have manufacturer certified technicians for Aqua Lung, Apeks, Scubapro, Mares, Oceanic, Atomic, Poseidon, Tusa, US Divers, Boss and more.

Full Regulator Service

$100 plus service kits and parts

Note: Regulators that require more attention based on the wear and condition of the regulator may incur  extra costs. The technician will phone to advise of any extra costs if required.

Valve and Tank Service (Hydrostatic Test Station #635)

In Australia, scuba cylinders are required to be both visual inspected and hydrostatically tested every year. Snorkel Safari Brisbane is a fully registered hydrostatic testing station. We are able to service both aluminium and steel cylinders of all shapes and sizes.

Oxygen Cleaning for Nitrox

Oxygen cleaning for nitrox use up to 100% is available for regulators and tanks.

BCD Servicing

BCD's servicing is recommended by manufacturers to maintain factory warranties.

Computer Battery Changes

Battery changes are available for most major brands including Suunto, Uwatec, Mares, Oceanic, Tusa and more. Battery changes are conducted in accordance with manufacturer specifications to maintain factory warranties and are sometimes required to be sent away for pressure testing.
